We are currently hiring a Sales Account Manager
**What will you be doing?**
- Proactively monitor network to identify potential clients and opportunities
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with clients with a key understanding of the client’s needs
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for clients
- Work and communicate effectively with all operational departments
- Participate/attend local community events to develop business relationships
- Attend trade shows and events
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
- Ensuring all permits are in place for liquor license, extensions, and tents.
- Work with catering software to produce contacts and BEO’s
- Work with diagram software to produce diagram and floor plans for events
- Other duties as assigned
**What we're looking for?**
- A minimum of one-two years sales experience actively prospecting and securing new business.
- Hospitality experience
- Post-secondary diploma in Sales, Business, Event Management or equivalent
- Experience selling to a variety of market segments.
- Must have strong business development and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills, able to work in a constantly fast-paced environment and demonstrated work flexibility.
- Self-starter/positive attitude
- Weekend work is required as is flexibility to attend evening sales functions/meetings.
- Ontario Driver’s License Class G
- Must possess professional decorum and an assertive sales quality.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
**Working conditions**:
- Office environment
- A flexible and varied work schedule to meet business demands.
- Regularly will need to meet with clients and be at events outside normal business days and hours
