**_Summary: _**

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate sources of problems.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems, read and interpret hydraulic prints.
- Able to work on PLC enabled systems, follow electrical prints to troubleshoot machinery and auxiliary systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance problems on machinery, molding and blow molding.
- Troubleshoot auxiliary systems, water pumps, material conveyance systems including material loaders and blenders.
- Experience with heating problems on extruder barrels, identify and repair bad heaters and thermocouples.
- Experience with Nissei, Husky, Jomar, Bekum ( or similar injection blow molding) would be an asset.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45.23-$51.69 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Industrial Mechanics: 4 years (preferred)
- Industrial & Manufacturing Engineers: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
