The Municipal Design Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, managing, and retaining revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. They directly or indirectly manage the process from lead validation to product and service delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations, and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers. This role will require up to 20% of travel.
This position is part of the Applications Team located in _London, Ontario_,_ and will be **hybrid.**
In this role, you will:
- Be an outstanding leader for a team of municipal designers to support the commercial and technical offerings of Trojan’s Municipal UV products.
- Improve internal processes and develop Trojan’s capabilities to provide technical support to regional sales managers and our customer’s (E+C’s, Municipalities).
- Oversee the quality of work in responding to UV system procurement requests including detailed documentation review, sizing, equipment selection, cost estimation, and proposal documentation.
- Oversee use of, and improve where needed, the tools and other technical resources used by team.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with cross-functional peers/teams and customers addressing areas of concern and performance requirements.
Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field of Engineering or technology
- 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor, or leader, in a technical or sales team
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset

- The ability to lead a mature team of professionals and continue to develop their careers
- Strong organizational and communications skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Water filtration and/or UV processes
- Municipal environment
