Reinforced Concrete is a family-owned business and leading concrete company in Hamilton that is proudly serving residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

**Concrete Former/Finisher Summary**:
The former/finisher worker is responsible for a variety of tasks involving: forming, finishing concrete for broom or smooth finish, stamped, exposed aggregate and other concrete finishes. Job duties will also include general labour duties upon request. Tools and equipment are provided and delivered to each project.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Reading blueprints and drawings, able to follow and give instructions; good communications skills
- Placing and levelling fresh concrete into forms
- Some resurfacing and concrete grinding
- Able to complete the following desired concrete finishes: Exposed, Stamped, Broom, Smooth, Architectural, Epoxy
- Experience with Footings and Foundations Walls including Waterproofing and Underpinning are considered an asset
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete
- Physical abilities: handling heavy loads; standing for extended periods; bending; crouching; kneeling
- Learn how to work on a team and manage resources and time efficiently

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher
- Truck driving with trailer experience is an asset
- Equipment operating experience is an asset including skid steer and excavator
- Valid G driver’s license required and any additional licences is an asset

**Job Type**:Full-time, 40 hours per week year round and more depending on experience

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
