**Job Description**:
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Concrete Assistant with experience supporting concrete crews in the field. This role is hands-on and physical — ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work and being part of a tight-knit crew.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with forming, pouring, raking, and finishing concrete

Help set up and strip formwork and tools

Mix, place, and consolidate concrete

Maintain clean job sites and organize materials

Support lead hands and finishers as needed

**Requirements**:
Minimum 4 year experience in concrete construction

Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs

Familiar with tools such as floats, edgers, and screeds

Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Punctual, team-oriented, and hard-working

Nice to Have:
Experience with architectural concrete or broom finishes

Ability to read basic drawings or plans

DZ license or skid steer experience

Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $25.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Concrete finishing: 4 years (preferred)
- Concrete forming: 4 years (preferred)
