- Sunday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Erb Group specializes on the timely, protected distribution of temperature-controlled perishable goods across Canada and the U.S. The Erb Group is a family-owned business and has been in the industry for over 60 years. Its head office is based in New Hamburg, Ontario, with additional Canadian terminals in Baden, Toronto, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Montreal, Trenton, Winnipeg and a U.S. terminal in Elverson, PA.
**What Will You Do?**
- Fill in for regular Dispatch when needed ie: holidays/day off etc. Support dispatch as required
- Help OS&D, entering OSD, tracking freight/bills
- Researching information for Terminal Manager and creating these reports
- Understand and use Orbcom and Omnitracs, to locate trucks/trailers/driver logs for HOS availability.
- Checking in of delivery bills
- Understand Operations
- Track and locate bills/product that customer might pick up on weekend
- Enter any late freight that arrive at Terminal after Friday dispatch have left
- Ability to work alone and with dock personnel
- Locate inbound loads and advise dock what and when it will be arriving
- Call drivers for Dispatch on Sunday
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Dispatch experience within the transportation industry required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Previous experience with routing software considered an asset
- Ability to work independently effectively
- Strong leadership skills and ability solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act, hours of service logs, load security and Regulations required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
