**Prep/Production - Bakery Production Kitchen**

Summerhill Market is looking for a **Bakery Prep / Production Worker** to join our high-volume Bakery Production Kitchen. This is a hands-on role that helps maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen, while also supporting basic food preparation. We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

You’ll work closely with the Dishwashing and Prep Leads and report directly to the Bakery Production Manager.

**Shift**: Primarily day shifts, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, measure, and portion ingredients for daily bakery production
- Assist with mixing, scaling, and preparing doughs, batters, and pastries
- Operate bakery equipment (mixers, sheeters, ovens, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Support production team by maintaining a steady supply of prepped ingredients and baked goods
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including equipment, floors, and storage spaces
- Unpack, label, and store bakery supplies and ingredients properly
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately to meet quality standards
- Perform additional prep and production duties as assigned by bakery leads

**What We Look For**
- Experience in a bakery, food prep, or fast-paced kitchen environment (an asset, but training available)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills in a busy production setting
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in warm conditions
- Willingness to assist in a variety of bakery prep and production support tasks
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills; ability to work well as part of a team
