Position Summary

We are looking for a Food Prep Specialist who can support all aspects of daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, customer service, and cashiering. The ideal candidate is reliable, fast-paced, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy restaurant environment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, maintains high standards, and can confidently assist in every station of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare crepes, waffles, fillings, toppings, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
  • Set up, clean, and maintain prep stations, cooking area, and equipment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle cashiering duties, including taking orders, operating POS, and processing payments
  • Restock inventory and ensure products are always fresh and ready for service
  • Support store operations including packaging, cleaning, and closing tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Perform any additional tasks required by the Store Manager

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food prep, QSR, café, or bakery preferred (but not mandatory)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Basic math and POS/cash-handling abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if required
  • Food Handler Certification is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
