**PASAJ **is a **Brunch Restaurant **that serves fusion menu that combines North American classics with Turkish Breakfast Culture. We pride ourselves to make everything from scratch. Our Comissary Kitchen: SIMIT Bakery provides all daily pastries, breads and desserts made from scratch while our PREP Kitchen prepares all sauces, pastes and bases. We serve a menu with some staple items as well as seasonal dishes.

We are looking to hire line/prep cooks to join our growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform delegated tasks from Sous Chef and Chefs
- Efficiently prepare stations to ensure a successful brunch service
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the restaurant
- Perform food preparation such as cutting/chopping vegetables, proportioning, weighing/measuring and mixing ingredients
- Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items
- Clean and sanitize food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of restaurant
- Preferably studying or studied culinary school
- Entry level knife skills
- Available day time and weekends
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts standing
- Safe Food Handlers is an asset

Work shift: twice a week from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
