Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.
Under the supervision of the Sr. Director, Sales Strategy & Global Business Development, the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to achieve revenue growth. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales expertise, market research, and relationship-building skills
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
1. Business Growth
a. Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, and products or services.
b. Develop and execute strategic plans to meet company revenue and growth objectives.
c. Achieve or exceed sales and business development targets.
2. Market Research & Analysis
a. Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
b. Gather insights to inform product or service offerings and competitive strategies.
3. Relationship Management
a. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
b. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts or regions.
c. Organize and attend industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences.
4. Sales & Negotiation
a. Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
b. Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives.
c. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
5. Strategic Collaboration
a. Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align business development efforts with overall organizational goals.
b. Provide input for the development of marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and go-to-market strategies.
6. Reporting & Forecasting
a. Maintain accurate records of sales, business development activities, and pipeline opportunities.
b. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management, highlighting progress and potential challenges.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within Fashion
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in sales or business development roles.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret market trends and data.
- Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales or business development certifications (optional but advantageous).
- Bilingual in both French and English
