Our client in Smithville is seeking a Packager for a Dog Food Packaging facility in the area. See below for further details:
**Responsibilities**:

- Packaging of food products according to company standards and guidelines
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- Follow all food health and safety protocols and guidelines
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment and will be working on the line
- Maintain accurate records of production and packaging activities
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a food processing or packaging role is an asset
- Familiarity with food industry regulations and standards
- Understanding of food safety practices and protocols or willing to learn

**Skills**:

- Ability to package, and label food products efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors

**Shift time**:Afternoon shift - 2:00pm - 10:00pm

**Pay-rate**:$18-19/hour

This position offers an opportunity to work in the dynamic food industry, ensuring the safe packaging of high-quality products.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Smithville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
