Rocks & Gems is hiring a Store Manager for our Whistler Location. We are looking for someone who prides themselves in providing exceptional customer service. The ideal Store Manager will have 2+ years of management experience. Previous retail experience is an asset but not required. We offer a competitive training wage with a raise after the probationary training period is completed as well as: Ski Pass or similar Wellness Benefit, extended medical benefits, commission on large sales, a summer monthly bonus program, vehicle allowance and parking spot in town.

Job Duties include the following:

- Create a professional environment that is welcoming to customers and staff
- Delegate tasks to have help with management duties and also keep up the appearance of the store
- Maintaining displays in the “Rocks & Gems” way
- Maintain stock levels on display and ensure general cleanliness of the store and displays
- Warehouse Runs for backup stock and packaging supplies (when warehouse team member is not available)
- Inventory adjustments on Smart Vendor
- Overseeing stock arrivals
- Overseeing the counting of inventory during inventory time
- Thorough training of all new employees, through both store policies and workplace expectations, as well as product knowledge and sales techniques
- Staff evaluations should be performed monthly during the 3 month probationary period, then every six months or twice a year after
- Written warnings and staff termination as required
- Arranging interviews and performing them as required
- Completing and submitting staff info sheets, including initial paperwork, to our Office Manager
- Making schedule changes directly through Google Sheets as needed and keeping Google Sheets up to date online
- Managing and overseeing the staff housing: includes move in/outs, accepting damage deposits, and inspections as required.
- Completing payroll on time and submitting hours and the cover letter to the Office Manager
- Learning how to do final pay for employees leaving our company
- Change & bill runs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
