Reporting to the Director of Property Management, the Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day leasing operations, optimizing occupancy and rental rates, and driving business performance across a portfolio of multi-family residential properties.

**Key Responsibilities**
**_Leasing Operations & Strategy_**
- Analyze market trends, traffic data, and leasing metrics to develop strategies that drive occupancy and optimize rental rates
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns and increase lead generation across multiple platforms
- Maintain and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including leasing performance, suite pricing, and occupancy trends
- Coordinate with property management to ensure units are market-ready and consistently meet Devon’s presentation standards
- Review and approve lease documentation for accuracy and compliance before final execution by licensed personnel
- Lead by example through active participation in leasing efforts, including showings, tenant communication, and support during high-volume periods or staffing gaps
**_Team Leadership & Development_**
- Directly manage, coach, and support a team of Leasing Specialists
- Conduct regular site visits, one-on-one coaching sessions, and weekly performance check-ins
- Deliver hands-on training and mentorship to support professional development and performance goals
- Promote compliance with internal policies, industry best practices, and BC leasing regulations
- Lead by example by participating in day-to-day leasing activities, troubleshooting leasing challenges, and engaging directly with tenants
- Maintain compliance with the BC Real Estate Services Act
**_Qualifications & Experience_**
- Willingness to obtain a Rental Property Management License (within 8 months)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, marketing, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role with direct reports
- Proven experience in residential leasing, ideally in the multi-family apartment sector
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and leasing/CRM software
- Organized, data-driven, and capable of working independently while managing a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
**Salary**: $75,000 per year + Commissions
