**Mattarello Osteria**

We are a new Italian style restaurant and bar. Our goal is to bring authentic, yet innovative, Italian dishes and a vibrant dining experience to the suburbs of Toronto.

**Summary**

This role is great for someone who is looking to advance their experience in the hospitality industry and wants to learn about Italian food, wine, & beer. As a server at Mattarello, you’ll be expected to run your own section, interact with guests, explain our menu and features as well as introduce our guests to our innovative Italian fare.

As the server at Mattarello some of your key duties and responsibilities would include:

- Knowledge of all menu items
- Assessing guests preferences/allergies and making recommendations in regards to their choices
- Checking customer identification and confirming legal drinking age as per Smart Serve
- Running drinks and food
- Keeping the restaurant space clean and organized
- Polishing and distributing glassware and flatware
- Bus tables

**Experience and skill-set required**:

- Previous experience working as a server
- Knowledge of POS systems
- General wine and food knowledge
- Well organized and great at prioritizing tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced restaurant

**Beneficial attributes**
- Knowledge of Italian food/wines/spirits/beers
- Previous work experience with Silverware

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
