**Tapagria Spanish Tapas Restaurant**

We are a Spanish Tapas style restaurant and bar. Our goal is to bring authentic Spanish dishes and a vibrant dining experience to the suburbs of Toronto. Some of the features will include an open kitchen, fresh seafood, private dining, imported ingredients, and sangria menu.

**Summary**

This role is great for someone who is looking to advance their experience in the hospitality industry and wants to learn about Spanish food/wine/beers and cocktails. As a server at Tapagria, you’ll be expected to run your own section, interact with guests, explain our menu and features as well as introduce our guests to Spanish style dining.

As the server at Tapagria some of your key duties and responsibilities would include:

- Knowledge of all menu items
- Interacting with guests, taking their drink/snack/food orders
- Accurately processing payments
- Assessing guests preferences/allergies and making recommendations in regards to their choices
- Setting up and breaking down the restaurant for lunch/dinner/private event service
- Checking customer identification and confirming legal drinking age as per Smart Serve
- Running drinks and food
- Keeping the restaurant space clean and organized
- Polishing and distributing glassware and flatware
- Bus tables

**Experience and skill-set required**:

- Previous experience working as a server
- Knowledge of POS systems
- General wine and food knowledge
- Well organized and great at prioritizing tasks
- Written & oral English skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced restaurant
- Collaborative and a team-player

**Beneficial attributes**
- Knowledge of Spanish food/wines/spirits/beers
- Previous work experience with Silverware

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00-$40.00 per hour
