The Appalachian Pub & Eatery is preparing to ramp up our business and we are looking for positive minded, excellence driven individual to join our culinary team as a Cook.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure food quality is at the highest standards and establish food quality and plating specifications
- Compliance of all standards and procedures relating to food safety
- Ability to understand and follow directions from others
- Maintain quality and speed of output.
- Desire and ability to work as part of a team
- Food handling
- Cleanliness

**QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years previous experience working as a cook in a high volume restaurant preferred
- You are passionate about food & the culinary excellence
- Food Handler Certification is desirable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organization & time management skills
- Adherence to company specifications
- Basic food handling and preparation knowledge
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Reliable and works well under pressure
- Positive attitude and the willingness to learn
- Strong availability
- You are able to work days, evenings & weekends

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
