**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Wheelhouse in Georgetown. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to freshness and flavor, contributing significantly to our guests' dining experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed meticulously.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
