**Position Overview**

We are looking for a motivated and high-performing individual to join our Wealth Management team as Investment Specialist Working amongst a team of respected professionals, the incumbent will provide holistic financial and investment planning advice, develop long-term relationships, and create customized investment solutions for G&F Financial Group members.

This is a mobile position working in partnership with various branches.

**Accountabilities**:

- Provides high-quality investment and financial advice and services to members to help them achieve their long-term financial goals
- Acquire and consolidate member assets
- Develop long-term relationships with members by continuously meeting their financial needs
- Develop and implement annual business plan.
- Provides guidance, mentoring and coaching to other team members and branch employees as appropriate.
- Represents and promotes G&F in the community by participating in local business activities and community functions.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years’ related experience with demonstrated success in sales, business development, financial advice and relationship management
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course
- Registration with Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA)
- Completion of Professional Financial Planning (PFP) and/or successful completion of core financial planning courses
- Post-secondary business degree or diploma is a strong asset
- Must have a valid BC Driver’s License and reliable access to a vehicle
