**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- MUST Speak Chinese and English
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office excel & words
- Using the computer database to research information about hotel accommodation fares and hotel ratings
- Negotiating with hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, and other businesses to secure the best possible rates
**- Experience in using GDS systems and dealing with airlines is preferred**
- Arranging & Coordinating all aspects of group travel, including booking hotels, flights, transportation and activities etc.
- Reviewing all travel documents to ensure that all details are correct before finalizing arrangements
- Dealing with payments & preparing invoices
- Updating clients during the trip regarding any changes in schedules or itineraries
- Managing the group’s schedule, including booking appointments with local merchants or businesses
- Communicating with clients and providing them with information about travel plans and activities
- Dealing with and documenting complaints in an efficient and diplomatic manner
- Providing information about hotels, restaurants, entertainment options, and other travel-related topics

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Exceptional customer service skills

Previous experience as a Travel Agent is an asset

Self-motivated with effective time management skills, able to manage a varied workload

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Good problem solving ability, attentive to detail

Detail-oriented

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tour operating: 1 year (preferred)
- GDS systems: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Cantonese/Mandarin (preferred)
- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- TICO (preferred)
