We are excited to expand our team and are looking for a skilled Water Truck Operator for our Base and Excavation crew.

**Position Overview**:
As a Water Truck Operator with the Base and Excavation crew, you will be responsible for driving the water truck to and from sites, operation of the water truck (hose and pumps), occasional hauling and operating of skidsteer. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and safe work on the job sites.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Operate and maintain water truck and/or skidsteer
- Safely perform tasks such as watering base material and operating skidsteer on site moving material.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating.
- Collaborate with foreman team members, and/or superintendent to meet project expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations on-site.
- Prepare accident reports and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating skidsteer for moving mud and aggregate.
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Endorsement.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.  
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.  
- Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.  
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.  
- Prior experience as a Labourer and Water Truck Driver is an asset.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with and accept guidance from Foreman and Superintendent as direct supervisor.

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project demands.
- Physical ability to perform manual labour, operate skidsteer, and operate/drive water truck.
