**About Us**:
GME Excavation Sewer is a leading provider of excavation services in Winnipeg, specializing in excavation and sewer and water line installations. With over 60 years of experience in heavy civil and sewer water construction, we are committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are excited to expand our team and are looking for a skilled Water Truck Operator for our Base and Excavation crew.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a low bed truck to transport heavy equipment and materials.
- Loads and unloads heavy equipment using the low bed trailer and truck.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance and keeps all equipment clean.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and job site requirements.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Order proper permits when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Three (3) years’ experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment, including excavators and skid steers.
- Knowledge of oversize load permits and the permitting system.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.
- Required to have your own transportation to the job sites as needed.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
