**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Anderson Watts is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our logistics team. We operate two warehouses in the lower mainland, 80k ft2 in total, consisting of shelf stable food products. As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient functioning of our order fulfillment, distribution and inventory processes.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Leadership: Lead and motivate warehouse personnel, providing guidance to ensure that all personnel carry out their responsibilities in a safe and effective manner.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory, including inbound and outbound freight, while ensuring stock rotation and stock transfers.
Order Fulfillment: Communicate effectively with the customer service teams and co-ordinate the timely and accurate fulfillment of outbound customer orders. This will involve overseeing the picking, preparing and shipping of customer orders within the time parameters defined by our customers.
Warehouse Operations: Maintain an efficient warehouse layout that optimizes space utilization and accessibility of the products.. Develop strategies to improve warehouse productivity, with an emphasis on minimizing picking/shipping errors. Oversee the maintenance of various warehouse material handling components as well as each building’s overall integrity.and services.
Health and Safety: Enforce the adherence to health and safety regulations within the warehouse, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed by all warehouse personnel.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role is required (minimum 5 years experience).
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Proficient computer skills ( Outlook / Excel / Word ).
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**COMPENSATION**:
Salary range from $55,000 to $85,000, commensurate on experience and qualifications.
Benefits package.
Monday to Friday operation only, 7am-3:30pm with limited overtime.
