**STAFFING & OPERATIONS MANAGER (CATERING & EVENT LOGISTICS SPECIALIST)**
**Salary & Benefits**:

**What you contribute**:
The operations team is collectively responsible for the thoughtful planning and execution of event logistics as it pertains to the success of any and all _**elle cuisine**_ events (drop offs, full service, weddings, virtual, etc.).
The focus of the **Staffing & Logistics Specialist (Operations Manager - Catering & Events) **is:
- Event Staffings needs (event managers, servers, bartenders, support chefs, etc.)
- Operations support staffing needs (delivery drivers, event set up teams, etc.)
- Work alongside sales & operations team to create clear operational plans for all types of events
**IDENTIFY & OVERSEE STAFFING NEEDS (internal operations team + onsite staffing for events)**
- Thoughtful placement and scheduling of part time FOH (front of house) employees - both offsite at events and onsite at elle cuisine’s main location as the schedule requires.
- Create weekly staffing schedules which includes all operations staff (operations managers, operations support, delivery drivers, event set up teams, etc.)
- Train support staff to execute packing, deliveries, inventory, production of printed materials, maintenance
- Recruitment of FOH and BOH staff, including:Publishing job ads on careers pages, job boards, and social media
- Extensive focus on FOH events execution standards
- Develop new training materials and procedures.
- Maintain a roster of part-time staff through ongoing recruitment to support business requirements. Maintain communication and positive relationship to encourage repeat and high quality work.
- To be onsite at events, for pro-active training and support (this requires some evening and weekend work)
**IMPLEMENT BEST OPERATIONAL PRACTICES TO EVENT EXECUTION**:Work alongside sales & operations team to create clear operational plans for all types of events. Delegate to the rest of the Operations Support team. This includes but is not limited to: full service events, weddings, corporate, private events, delivery orders, virtual events.
**QUALIFICATIONS - What you bring**:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a Project Management or Operations Management roles.
- Minimum 2 years experience managing staff.
- Knowledge of the hospitality and events industry
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks and ensure that they are completed correctly, in a timely manner.
- Enjoys working in a demanding, fast-paced work environment and flexible with work hours.
- Highly self - motivated and independent; a strategic thinker.
- Able to perform well and problem solve in high stress, dynamic and constantly changing/evolving situations.
- Detail oriented and ability to manage a high volume of work easily and effectively.
- Positive and professional attitude and able to work as a team player.
- Excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Exceptional understanding of and experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
