**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Responsible for maintaining the Company claims log
- Obtain information from claimants/clients
- Contact claimants agents and business clients, to collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
- Provide advice on making a claim and the process involved
- Recommend claim action to manager for approval
- Coordinate claims compensation with Perimeter’s accounting department
- Monitor the process of a claim
- Ensure fair settlement of valid claims and communicate accordingly to claimants
- Investigate potentially fraudulent claims
- Handle any complaints associated with a claim
- Follow up with client concerns
- Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company
- Maintain records, reports and files
- Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System
- Perform additional duties as assigned

**Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications**
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Airline Passenger Protection Regulation (APPR) knowledge considered an asset
- Previous experience with an Airline Reservation Software System considered an asset (Amelia preferred)
- Customer service experience an asset
- Airline experience considered an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Work performed primarily in an office environment
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone
- Work performed in multiple environments; contact with staff and the general public
