We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in West Vancouver. The Business Development Manager role reports directly to the Director, and is responsible for successfully building relationships in the community attending networking events, meeting with referral partners and healthcare facilities. In this role you will be empowered to be themselves and put their heart on their sleeves. This will empower them to show up as their best self each day. Development, support, and feedback will be provided from a number of professionals on an ongoing basis including being part of a network of leaders with similar roles from regions across Canada. Main Responsibilities: - Proactively building relationships with potential referral partners (to include but not be limited to social workers, hospital care staff and care facilities) in your assigned region - Able to align and explain our services and how it can help potential referral partners and clients - Create and implement marketing activities in the health care field and general community events - network for opportunities to partner and support community health resulting in referrals and leads - Conduct in home assessments, develop personal and focused care plans - Upholding JLF values and standards successfully close leads and opportunities, including onboarding of clients into our system Key requirements for this position: - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Reflect the core values of "Just Like Family Home Care®” with a passion for quality care - Sales and marketing experience needed - Healthcare experience and knowledge an asset and a willingness to learn about our industry and our clients’ needs - Experience working in a progressive, entrepreneurial organization - Possess active listening skills and enjoy hearing other people’s stories - Self starter with a positive, can-do attitude, possess a curiosity and willingness to learn - Valid Driver's license, and use of own vehicle In return, the company will offer: - Competitive and generous compensation including a bonus structure - Extended medical benefits - Reimbursement for car mileage - Flexible schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work - Opportunity to be a key leader and influencer within a fast-growing business that makes a difference to peoples’ lives every day. **Job Type**: starting at 30 hours per week with potential for Full time employment If this is the right role for you, please send your resume and a cover **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week **Benefits**: - Automobile allowance - Dental care - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Paid time off Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) **Experience**: - Business development: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: On the road
