The Driving Force Group of Companies is currently hiring an Administrative Assistant in our Corporate Office, located in Edmonton, AB. As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Executive Assistant and senior leadership team. Your mission is to ensure smooth office operations while creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all. From managing communications to organizing events, your contributions will make a significant impact on our organization.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to.
- Handle all incoming calls with professionalism and warmth.
- Keep the office informed by communicating updates and important announcements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to efficiently address requests and inquiries.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment and spaces.
- Plan and execute engaging internal and external events, including social gatherings.
- Act as the primary liaison for janitorial, maintenance, security, and service vendors.
- Manage travel bookings and credit card transactions for the senior leadership team.
- Order and maintain office supplies to keep our workplace running smoothly.
- Support the Executive Assistant and senior leadership team with various tasks.
- Prioritize requests and manage competing demands with poise and professionalism.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, exceeding the expectations of colleagues and visitors.
- Build strong relationships by understanding and anticipating the needs of those you support.
- Respond promptly to messages and urgent requests while maintaining confidentiality.
- Complete tasks methodically and refocus efficiently when interruptions arise.
What you’ll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience with travel booking is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Concur experience is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to help others.
