We are looking for an **experienced dispatcher** with a minimum 2 years of experience. This role will coordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers according to customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner.
- Continuously monitor the load boards to book loads (Loadlink)
- Effectively negotiate rates with customers to achieve a profitable margin.
- Call customers to advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to process orders, border crossings, receipt of custom documents for clearance.
- Ensure that the drivers have all the necessary paperwork in order before dispatching to client sites, including alternate routes or special instructions for delivery.
- Assist in preparing necessary paperwork relating to shipping schedules, customs, fueling, loading and provide to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Remains current with latest transportation technology systems and procedures.
- Must pay attention to detail and be able to multitask.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school, college or university degree.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a dispatching role within the Transportation/Logistics industry (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to quickly learn new software is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,685.73-$58,000.00 per year
