We are looking for a Grocery Representative to join us who is just as dedicated as we are in providing exceptional customer service and shares our passion.

6 - 8 hour shifts available on Thursdays and Fridays.

Some of the responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to:

- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome the moment they enter the store
- Educate and inform customers on discounts, store promotions, product features and after-sale services
- Handle customer inquiries and requests in a prompt, polite and efficient manner
- Operate cash register and bag groceries
- Control inventory, informing Supervisor in case of low inventory levels
- Discard all expired items inline with the store’s policy
- Efficiently stock, rotate and display product in a neat, organized and appealing manner
- Take all opportunities to cross-sell products, driving sales were appropriate
- Manage returns of merchandise, with Supervisor approval
- Coordinate with the Grocery Representative team to provide exceptional customer service, taking every opportunity to go above and beyond the customer’s expectations
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all new products and services offered
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures
- Local deliveries as required

What we are looking for:

- Previous grocery/produce experience required
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Is a good listener and driven to educate others
- Punjabi fluency would be deemed to be an asset
- Although not required, a valid Class 5 drivers license would be preferred
