Cowan Dynamics is a well-established engineering and manufacturing company of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electro-Hydraulic Actuators and process control systems. We have an international and diversified client base supported by our sales groups based in Montreal and Edmonton.

**Summary**

Technically adept, with strong leadership skills and hands-on person who will be responsible to manage Cowan’s manufacturing teams to produce quality products, meet on-time delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure continuous optimization of work methods, processes, tools, and inter-departmental communications.

**Responsibilities**

Responsible for all manufacturing and purchasing processes and day-to-day operations to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.

Manage all information between the engineering and manufacturing departments

Maintain and/or develop information reporting tools to ensure that all pertinent information is accessible to all personnel

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

Ensure that quality control procedures are properly maintained and implemented

Ensure continuous improvement of personnel by recommending and/or implementing tailored training sessions

Ensure continuous improvement of work processes and/or tools to optimize all aspects of operations

Assists in recommending capital investments and process improvement projects

**Qualifications**

Multi-year experience in a relevant role in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s degree in operations and logistic engineering from an accredited university

PMP certification mandatory

Fluent in French and English, spoken and written

Strong people management, communications, and conflict management skills

Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes and fluid power system design
