We are looking for a Executive Compensation Associate.

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations:Toronto, London, Winnipeg, Montreal, Regina._**
The Executive Compensation Associate position is responsible for supporting the Executive Compensation team in developing and delivering compensation arrangements and solutions for executives across the company through research, analysis, modelling, reporting, program administration, and a range of other activities aligned to key initiatives and processes.
**What you will do**
- Support the annual base salary and incentive compensation review and payment cycles through data and systems validation and testing, maintaining project plans and timelines, generating reports and offering insights using databases and compensation administration tools.
- Administer the company’s equity-based incentive program awards, including the facilitation of award grants, payouts and communications with executives.
- Administer the company’s executive perquisite opportunities and support global mobility systems and arrangements, including employee relocations.
- Contribute to the development, review and proofing of compensation statements, communications, training materials and presentations.
- Contribute to the preparation and validation of data and exhibits for senior management and Board of Directors meeting materials, external disclosure, and regulatory filings.
- Assist in modeling, simulation and analyses related to compensation program design, including cost analyses and projections.
- Compile, organize and validate compensation market benchmarking data, conduct analyses and interpretation and contribute to identifying and evaluating job matches.
- Conduct research on a range of topics as required, including relevant regulatory and legal developments, and global mobility / compensation market trends and best practices.
- Contribute to the review and ongoing enhancements of compensation programs, policies, and processes; proactively look for efficiency gains and automation opportunities.
- Support special compensation and mobility projects and initiatives and collaborate with Total Rewards, HR and other company stakeholders as needed.
**What you will bring**
- Post-secondary degree, preferably in Business / Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Human Resources.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred; direct experience in compensation role is an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills - demonstrated ability to understand, organize, and make sense of data and develop reports; is inquisitive and aims to understand the “story beyond the numbers.”
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required, including working knowledge of formulas, vlookups, pivot tables and other functions; enjoys working with spreadsheets. Strong skills in numeracy, mathematics an asset. Proficient in Power Point and Word.
- Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy, and strong organization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities.
