Overview:
Our Release team is looking for skilled Release Analyst to join our Deployment and Release team As a Release Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all teams and deliverables adhere to audit and compliance standards, and maintaining quality by performing testing to our products and solutions.

- Test software programs, products, solutions and development procedures to ensure client requirements are met and delivered
- Perform and execute Migration and Deployment plans per the schedule and release
- Enforce best-practices and standards before live release dates for scheduled migrations, Canada to US location moves, and Legacy to VBS.NET conversions
- Develop and maintain Compliance, Migration and Deployment plans as needed
- Execute and perform the deployment protocols for tested programs, products and solutions to various servers and environments
- Execute regression, functional, back-end and data testing
- Report and track bugs, defects and issues

What skills do you need?:

- **Experience using Octopus Deploy is an absolute must**:

- Release and deployment is your bread and butter
- 1-3 years of Software QA Testing experience in the IT industry
- 1-3 years of Deployment experience in the IT industry
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience focusing on software functionality
- 2+ year Working experience on Amazon Web services.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continous deployment tools TeamCity and BitBucket.
- Knowledge of QA and Deployment tools
- Deployment experience is a must
- Knowledge or experience using Source Safe, Source Tree or Stash/GIT
- Knowledge of C# and VBScript
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server is an asset
- Knowledge of issue tracking systems such as JIRA
- Knowledge of ITIL standards
