The Quality Assurance and Release Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that only changes which match the defined requirements and quality standards of Computer Workware Inc. are promoted to the production environment. In addition, the Quality Assurance and Release Support Analyst will also help support the iBenefits release process by coordinating upgrade timing with clients and helping to prepare release documentation. You will work closely with team members, as well as independently and confidently to manage your own workload. You’ll be able to understand customer requirements, delivering testing solutions that are aligned to their needs. At times, you’ll support other members of the team and share your knowledge with them.

**The role in a nutshell**:

- Completes product quality control testing based on business requirements and project timelines.
- Create and execute test plans based on detailed requirements for all types of product testing.
- Support the software development release cycle by managing release documentation and coordinating upgrade timing with clients.
- Work with internal and external clients to understand project features and requirements and create and refine test scenarios.
- Work with internal and external clients to create clear and concise release notes.
- Create and maintain feature configuration and support documentation.
- Maintain a repository of standard test plans for all areas of the Benefits Administration system.
- Responsible for the quality of the custom benefit administration solutions including supporting System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Client Acceptance Testing (CAT) for each individual client need.
- Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and work with leadership to build out processes, make recommendations and execute process improvement.
- Gathers and documents desired output from employer and their representatives.
- Develops and continuously improves quality assurance best practices, provides suggestions and documentation for collateral and feedback.
- Quickly escalates any identified risks or issues to a project based on product configuration requirements to project management and management.
- Organizes, investigates, and resolves assigned work in a timely and effective manner.
- Provides updates on accomplishments, issues, and future activities of assigned projects in weekly meetings.
- Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and plans to achieve high quality deliverables within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Maintains a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction through the entire duration of the customer relationship.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external client management.
- Completes other tasks and projects as required.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the benefit administration industry
- Minimum 2 years’ functional testing experience
- Highly organized and process oriented.
- Excellent at resolving problems
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Familiar with traditional SDLC and Agile methods/practices
- Strong documentation skills
- Can adapt to new information and change approach to achieve objectives as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently on complex implementations.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Passionate about quality and continuous improvement, with an emphasis on creating solutions.
