**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/ACCOUNT MANAGER**

Due to growth within our company, **we are seeking a Business Development/Account Manager to join our sales team in North York**. Our business development/account managers are integral members of the Vogel family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients’ dreams to life.

This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

**WHO WE ARE**

Since 1965, Vogel has **manufactured high-end upholstered furniture **for residential customers, and for the hospitality industry across North America. Vogel is a part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, luxury hotel furniture, and home décor.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Promote the Vogel brand to the Canadian design trade, and develop new business
- Seek out Vogel dealer partnerships in areas not currently covered by outside representatives
- Showroom appointments with the design trade and their clients
- Keep the showroom tidy and organized
- Keep the fabric gallery organized and updated
- Organizing and tracking outside dealer/designer sales tools (wood, metal, and fabric samples, etc.)
- Order entry as needed

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Proven experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Sales and marketing experience with a knowledge of the key players in the Canadian design trade
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
- A passion for the core values that are the foundation of our company
- A commitment to punctuality and dependability
- **BONUS**: Experience with custom furniture, upholstery, and home furnishing products
