**About the role**: Tacofino is looking for a great person to join us as Line Cook in a quick-service style restaurant on the Tacofino team.

**About you**: We are growing and have an opportunity for a great person with a strong passion for cooking who is looking to join our team as a Line Cook. You will be responsible for executing menu items in a timely manner, supporting your teammates, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. This is a great opportunity to be a long-term member of our growing team
**Responsibilities**:
- Food preparation: cutting, portioning, frying, baking, following recipes, putting away orders, and cleaning of kitchen tools and facility as required
- Ensure all food preparation and storage procedures are followed as outlined by Vancouver Coastal Health, to include FIFO and appropriate labeling
- Playing a role in ensuring a respectful workplace environment by professional communication with all team members and customers
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- 6+ months experience in a fast-paced & professional kitchen environment preferred but not necessary
- A strong passion for food
- A positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knife skills
- Food Safe Level 1 an asset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, according to the needs of the business
- The desire for growth and opportunity
