**Firm Description**

MW&CO is a progressive, regional, professional services firm offering services in public accounting, financial planning, and estate tax management. We are a rapidly growing practice seeking an enthusiastic, committed administrative assistant to join our team for 6 months during our busy tax season. Our firm offers a variety of challenging administrative tasks and client service experiences.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

Reception and Administrative
- Receive and direct telephone calls and walk-in clients with professionalism, courtesy and integrity
- Assist with administrative responsibilities such as processing client payments, scanning and filing, preparing and receiving mail and courier packages, and directing incoming correspondence
- Coordinate staff schedules and book client meetings
- Prepare correspondence, letters and tax documents as requested
- Maintain organized and presentable office areas, including client lobby, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas

Database Maintenance
- Input client information and updates as required
- Receive and log all incoming client information in internal databases

Personal Development
- Help develop, improve and implement document workflow systems to ensure efficiency and completeness of client services by providing feedback and suggestions to supervisors
- Interact with all staff in a supportive manner
- Adhere to the ethical standards of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and those implicit within MW&CO

**Education and Skills Required**
- Graduate of college Office Administration Program or Accounting Program an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, outgoing and positive attitude, strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and problem-solving abilities
- General working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office programs

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
