**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Reporting to the Methods & Quality Supervisor, the Continuous Improvement Analyst's main mandate will be to develop a culture of continuous improvement and effective corrective actions at Soucy Baron.

The incumbent will, among other things:

- Support the Methods/Continuous Improvement team with recognized problem solving, effective corrective action and continuous improvement techniques
- Implement, initiate and promote quality and statistical tools (Six Sigma-Kaizen...)
- Compile and analyze data from control points and performance indicators, using a monitoring system, with a statistical approach to identify opportunities for improvement
- Be responsible for managing and documenting ongoing corrective actions in the CMMS system (Interal)
- Capture deviations observed during internal and external audits to provide solutions and take part in change management
- Evaluate over time the corrective actions implemented to ensure their effectiveness
- Responsible for the communication of ongoing actions and their progress within the plant
- Define and implement a simple and integrated document management system for the company's files and knowledge base

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- College degree in mechanical engineering or University degree in engineering. Any other relevant discipline or experience will be considered
- Two (2) years of experience in problem solving, corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Mobilizing leadership
- Good organizational skills, meticulousness and tenacity
- Good understanding of the Lean and Kaizen approach
- Ability to work in a team and have a good capacity to influence
- Functional bilingualism both orally and in writing (French/English)
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio and a manufacturing system
- Lean 6 Sigma and Kaizen certification (an asset)
- Knowledge of ISO9001-2015 (and APQP elements an asset)
