**About Us**

Tallysman® is an Ottawa-based producer of products and components for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). These include RF and high-performance antennas and intelligent location-based wireless infrastructure solutions for tracking systems.

**The Position**

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Director, the Continuous Improvement Coordinator will be responsible to render assistance as required and requested by the QA Department Staff. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Implement and train employees on Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (e.g., 5S, Poka-Yoke) on Shop Floor and Management Processes.
- Review current manufacturing processes to assess risks and implement Mistake-Proofing hardware and techniques on Tallysman’s manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate Tallysman’s RMA Process to document and track reports (MS Excel), analyze customer complaints with relevant areas, provide root cause analysis and actions plans to internal and external customers.
- Coordinate, document (MS Excel) and implement improvement ideas from Tallysman’s Internal Continuous Improvement Process (employee generated) with relevant departments.
- Coordinate, document (MS Excel) and implement corrective actions plans from customer audits, certification audits, internal audits, etc. with relevant departments.
- Work closely with our Operations Team to implement a High-Performance Teams Program where operators supervise and report on the performance of their own manufacturing lines.
- Generate process documentation (e.g., work instructions, product datasheets, product certificates) to internal and external customers (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A minimum bachelor’s degree education.
- Three or more years of experience in Manufacturing work environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Advanced MS Windows environment skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
- Advanced web browser or web-based software skills to find and enter information in Intranet systems and MS Teams (or similar).
- Willingness to learn new systems and activities and open to new ideas and suggestions.
- Positive attitude towards constant change in work systems.
- Positive customer service attitude and communications towards internal and external customers.
- Self-control and temperance during stressful situations.
- 3D Printer programming and use is a strong asset.
