Bids and Operations Manager

**_We are looking for a dynamic and forward-looking individual to step into the role of a _**_Bids and Operations Manager for our sister company PureSpirIT_**. In this role you will **_drive and manage the RVD and technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the technical team as the key sales advisor and RVD advocate for PureSpirIT products. You should be skilled to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and identify all sales (pre and post) issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. You will establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and leverage your project management skills.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**HPI RVD Desktop/Notebook product Line**
- Aid PureSpirIT in maintaining the preferred HPI NSMO Vendor for all Aboriginal Categories.
- Maintain and expand the PureSpirIT RVD process/Strategy for HPI NSMO all categories.
- Work with the operations team to ensure that we have all resources to enable the volume-based business for HPI.
- Actively look to optimize the people/process and technology process of our RVD business.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in authorizing PureSpirIT to lead the HPI NMSO RVD business.
- Form all third-party relationships to enable the success of the RVD business (i.e. logistics, support, and all product Imaging and asset tagging).
- Prepare all sales aspects of the HPI RVD bids and submit.
- Work with IT Pro for all options for any RVD related orders.
- Document and train others on the PureSpirIT team to be able to also submit RVD’s on behalf of PureSpirIT.
**Hybrid Sales/Operations Sales Management**
- Build out a full sales practice at PureSpirIT Solutions.
- Architect operational efficiencies and implement best practices to facilitate business growth.
- Drive go-to-market strategy through sales initiatives and campaigns.
- Work with the PureLogic Team (or other VAR Partners) to manage any additional demand activities as defined by the VP Sales.
- Self-managing implementations using strong project management skills.
- Project manage manufacturer lead or third party white label services.
- Work with architect to develop solutions and OEM sales team.
- Identify resale opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans.
- Create sales or service contracts for products or services as needed or leverage tools to complete tasks with government or internal.
- RVD total operational management including:
- Submissions
- IT Pro Store (or other online tools) management
- Acceptance of orders
- Work with Ops team for data processing
- Track shipments / POD
- Work with Ops team for invoicing as per accordance to RVD/IT Pro
- Forecasting
- Potentially placing orders with in PS’s ERP/CRm.
**RELEVANT PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNOLOGIES**
**Hardware**
- Experience in deploying Client and Server solutions
- Experience in SAN/NAS storage such as EMC, Hitachi and Netapp
- Understand and further knowledge on converged Architecture
- Have an understanding and willingness to learn Software Defined Solutions. Including VMware and Redhat on X86 servers
- Laptop and Desktop (Dell, others)
- UPS’s (Eaton, APC)
**Software**
- VMware VCP, VSAN, NSX
- Redhat: Emerging Technologies
- CommVault
- Microsoft
- Specialisation in Hyper Convergence implementation (VXrail, VXrack)
**OTHER SKILLS**
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Team player
- Strong organisational, judgement and leadership skills
- Quick problem-solving skills with solutions that benefit both company and customer
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills both internal and external
- Proficient in all MS Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- ERP/CRM/Accounting Software experience is an asset
- Quick learner with acute attention to detail is essential
- Excellent mathematical skills and retention of data is essential
- Positive, client focus attitude is required
- Strong mentorship skills and ability to train other team members and support their growth
- Ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment
