Provide a Bid Management service to the business that follows the company bid process and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a bid to deliver comprehensive and complete documentation that meet our customers’ exact requirements.
On opportunity basis, from Qualification to Authority to Contract, as part of a bid team with focus on opportunities with regular complexity with regard to scope, legal and commercial criticality as well as scope of transition/transformation.
**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values
Project Management
- Preparation and planning of bids including resources, project plan, work packages, milestones, deadlines
- Planning and controlling of internal communication in the bid team and with other stakeholders in the organization
- Management and controlling of the virtual team and operational management of bid projects (in-time, in-Quality, In-budget, resource, deliverables / Products) with the focus on the coordination of tasks in the Bid team as applicable
- Make sure that the relevant governance and approval processes take place within the bid lifecycle
- Tracking of agreed internal and external delivery dates and ensuring completeness and consistency of the content that will be submitted to the customer
Document Management
- Preparation and implementation of activities for the development and documentation of bid strategy, differentiators, win themes, key messages and content for proposal and presentation
- Planning and controlling of the handling the documents (filing structure, naming conventions, responsibilities)
- Document management for the offer and contract to agreed standards Ensure deliverables and presentations meet company formatting and quality standards
- Use Bid Story and Presentation Story tools to create win themes, differentiators and clear value propositions and make sure that they are applied throughout our campaign
- Collects, prepares and integrates standard proposal content as well as customized content for the customer
- Adaption of customer-specific references
- Support of customer specific campaigns, coordination of marketing support
- Closure of bid projects (provision of content for re-use into standard knowledge & bid libraries)
- Management and participation of/in projects to increase effectiveness / efficiency of presales projects

**Reporting**
This position will report to the Director of Proposals and Sales Centre
**Education & Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 - 10 years of experience in the field of Bid Management and Proposal Development
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Eligible for Federal Government Secret Clearance
**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong proficiency in document management using Office 365 tools including SharePoint
- Very good communication skills and ability to ‘lead’ small to medium size groups
- Messaging - creativity with storylines and using different messaging mediums
- Deal Based marketing concepts and contribution beyond specific proposal responses
- Continuous Improvement philosophy
