**What you'll do on a typical day**:
**Training Program Development & Delivery**:

- Coordinate onboarding and job-specific training for new hires, ensuring alignment with PERI Canada’s standards.
- Support the development and rollout of technical, safety, leadership, and soft skills training programs.
- Schedule, organize, and facilitate in-person, on-the-job, and virtual training sessions.

**Compliance & Record-Keeping**:

- Ensure training records are accurately tracked in PERI’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other tracking tools.
- Monitor mandatory training (e.g., safety, WHMIS, equipment certifications), sending timely reminders and follow-ups.
- Prepare compliance reports and dashboards for audits and leadership reviews.

**Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Liaise with internal trainers, external providers, and vendors to coordinate training logistics and content.
- Work with department managers and supervisors to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Support HR in implementing development plans and performance improvement initiatives.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Gather feedback from trainees and leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve training delivery and content for greater engagement and retention.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and recommend innovations in training delivery.

**Support for Strategic Projects**:

- Assist with corporate and regional training initiatives, and leadership development programs.
- Provide support in organizing and executing national training events, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Post-secondary education in HR, Training & Development, or related field.
- 1+ years’ experience in a training or HR role, preferably within the Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing industry.
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, UKG).
- Solid public speaking skills with the ability to engage a variety of audience members.
- Exceptional Communicator (written and verbal) who possesses the interpersonal and communication skills needed to effectively synthesize information and present/communicate to various levels of the organization and in diverse team environments.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers and vendors and conceptualize cause and effect in various departments.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize short and long-term goals and strong multitasking capabilities.
- Strong ability to identify and implement process improvement.
- Medium level of independence.
- Decision making requires independent analysis.
- Work independently and follow through on assignments with mínimal direction.
- Responsible for effective communication with other team members.
- Provides updates on work progress, as needed.
