About the Role

Are you passionate about social media, community engagement, and supporting local businesses? Join MRVCBA as our Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer) You’ll help shape our online presence, engage our community, and promote events that foster business connections within the Chinese community.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with MRVCBA’s mission

Create and publish engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter

Monitor and respond to comments and messages

Track social media metrics and optimize engagement

Collaborate with volunteers and staff to promote events and initiatives

Stay on top of social media trends and best practices

What We’re Looking For

Strong knowledge of social media platforms and audiences

Excellent written and verbal communication (English; Chinese is a plus)

Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Spark preferred)

Independent, self-motivated, and a team player

Passionate about community building and supporting businesses
