Requity Homes is looking for a business development manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to support our mission to create an alternative path to homeownership. As our first sales team member, you’ll have the opportunity to take the lead and build our sales function from scratch as we look to scale our presence in Ontario and across Canada. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of our sales cycle, from lead generation to closing and will get the opportunity to lead discussions with other business partners such as realtors, brokers, mortgage agents, and anyone else you can think of whose clients could benefit from our fair and flexible rent-to-own program.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with our executives and Marketing team to build a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities
- Provide sales support and training to all our referral partners.
- Provide sales funnel reports and other key insights to the executive team
- Own the D2C sales funnel, developing data-informed strategies to optimize and improve sales capabilities
- Willingness to get their hands dirty with direct sales is a must

**Who You Are**
- 2+ years of related experience, with a strong preference for hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience in sales and relationship management with a proven track record of building out leads and relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills that can collaborative effectively with relevant teams and people at all levels
- A bias towards critical thinking, creatively solving problems from a customer-centric lens, and an intuitive sense for how the work aligns closely with business objectives
- Knowledge of real estate industry or mortgage industry is a plus
- Prior experience in sales CRM including Hubspot is preferred

Pay: $38,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
