**Job description**

Reporting to our Senior Purchaser, the Inventory Control Clerk will work with our purchaser and production team to provide and maintain inventory levels.

This a fulltime position in office, Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all Inventory is received, packing slips are checked and handed into purchaser.
- Distributing inventory into shelving and racking.
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels and notify purchasing for reorders.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Create Kanban systems for inventory storage, to always ensure enough stock.
- Fulfil production Kanban’s ensuring production has the material required

**Requirements**:

- Has a minimum of 2 - 5 years of inventory experience.
- Self starter, and motivated to improve the systems.
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong record-keeping and analytical skills.
- Must be comfortable to lift 20 - 40 lbs up mobile stairs.
- Able to learn part numbers quickly and do cycle counts.
- Attendance is key for this position.
- Knowledge of the window industry considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Heavy lifting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
