Scheduling Supervisor

The Scheduling Supervisor is motivated, knowledgeable in the fire protection and life safety industry, with a strong technical and time-management focus to support of the company’s field service operations. The Scheduling Supervisor will be responsible to understand the services work backlog, available technician resources, and service type details to effectively guide and coach the scheduling team in the company’s objective of optimized schedules and technician dispatching. This position will require an ability to work effectively with other departments such as Field Services, Continuous Improvement, and Office Operations & Documentation. The Scheduling Supervisor is the locations lead to support on-time and efficient daily resource management by the field service teams, including redeploying and rescheduling resources based on changing conditions. **JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Scheduling Supervisor is a full-time position who is responsible for supervising the scheduling department while working with the Scheduling Manager and other Managers in the Service Division to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling for our Technicians and our Clients. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
**PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Participate in the testing, deployment, implementation and continual maintenance of the scheduling software
- Work with the Scheduling Manager to create scheduling procedures and work instructions.
- Train and develop the scheduling team to be proficient in the scheduling software and procedures.
- Supervise the scheduling team in their scheduling duties to ensure adherence to quality.
- Coach and mentor scheduling staff and liaison with service managers for resource planning.

**SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ensure clients record are accurate an updated in our ERP, Inspection Reporting Platforms, Network Drives, and Files
- Work closely with the Scheduling Supervisor, and Service Managers in the mapping our new business appointments, and complex inspection services jobs
- Work with the Scheduling Supervisor, and Service Managers to address inspection work-in-progress reports (weekly)
- Provide Scheduling Status Updates to your supervisor/team (Daily)
**SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS**
- Work with Scheduling Manager on resource planning and performance management of the team
- Work closely with Scheduling Manager on tasks, and initiatives
- Work closely with the Service Managers on maintaining operational input output targets for our clients
**SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS**
- Scheduling system (TBD) management and administration
- Understanding of ERP (Acumatica) financial systems and management reporting.
- The understanding and use of, our Inspection Reporting Systems
**SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES**
- Planning, scheduling, and detailed time management skills are a must Strong attention to details and record keeping focus to ensure division’s scheduling needs
- Supervise up to eight regular staff schedulers
- Able to process documentation and understand completeness formatting and consistency requirements
- Keep informed of scheduling system revisions and upgrades
- Ability to travel as needed for extended duration to various branch and customer locations
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in work planning, scheduling, dispatching, and redeployment type roles in service industries
- Working knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Codes and Standards
- Working knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Systems
- Working knowledge of fleet management practices
