We are looking for fun, outgoing and dedicated developmental service worker/program aide to join our team

1 Full Time position available
- Lead activities and tasks related to the Day Program;
- Operate daily operations of the Day Program, e.g. activity planning, prepping and implementation
- Planning, preparing and implementing community outings and big events.
- Design monthly activity calendar
- providing snacks and meals, assisting with feeding and clean-up;
- Provide hands-on client care as required: e.g. toileting, basic personal care and hygiene;
- Ensure the Day Program environment is safe at all times for clients, staff and volunteers. Practice appropriate health safety techniques;
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, program areas and kitchen.
- Provide hands-on client care as required: e.g. toileting, basic personal care and hygiene
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must have developmental Service Worker or Recreation Therapy
- Must have experience in a day program or Long Term Care home setting
- Must be able to lead big group Programs independently
- Must have Police Check and Vulnerable Sectors completed.
- Currently First Aide and CPR cert.

*Experience working with young adults with special needs
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- must have a fun, outgoing personality
- Must be reliable
