**IT Support Specialist**

Required: When working from home, the IT specialist must remain available to visit the office (on-call) during working hours to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues that may arise.

**Salary**: $55,000 annual salary.

**Primary Duties - (Hybrid)**:
**IT Support**
- Ensure timely resolution of users’ issues and communication within the team.
- Perform technical assistance and maintenance duties; maintain and update record-keeping systems.
- Write and maintain user instruction manuals.
- Provide individual and/or group instruction and training to new staff.
- Provide support to online courses (Knowledge of e-learning platforms is an asset).
- Setup video/audio equipment
- Assist in accounts set up for hybrid mediations and arbitrations
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

**Technology Alignment Support**
- Strategize and plan equipment updates due to changes in technology: anticipate for the future.
- Participate in research and implementation of new technologies.
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
- Participate in the review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Support Avaya Phone system requests.
- Help with IT specific projects such as launching new websites, updating database software, computers and network.
- Maintain inventory of all company electronic and computer assets

**Websites**
- Perform regular content updates and when required, assist with structural changes of WordPress websites.
- WordPress website maintenance and updates.

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to troubleshoot mainly **Apple OS** and Windows OS
- Network administration experience is required
- Understanding and working experience with Microsoft domain environments, specifically Active Directory.
- Experience and troubleshooting knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Cloud technology
- Understanding of computer and server hardware, network printers, Apple devices, smart phones.
- Knowledge of HTML
- Experience working with vendors for support issues and getting quotations for new products.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
