**Terms of Employment**:30-40 hours per week, full-time, permanent

**Start Date**:As Soon As Possible

**Wage**:$16.25 - $18.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

**No of Positions**: 2

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Ensure the food quality is outstanding every time
- Ensure work areas, utensils, and production equipment are in a clean and sanitized state
- Ensure safe handling food procedures are followed, as well as health and safety policies are maintained
- May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May hire and train kitchen staff.
- Develop the ability to prepare and cook French-Italian cuisine/special dishes offered by the restaurant
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:
**SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:No formal education required

**Experience**:Cooking experience would be considered an asset, but not necessary. We will train.

**Language**:English
