Salary Range: $45,400- $53,360

We are currently seeking a Communications Coordinator for any of our following locations: Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins, Dryden, Hamilton, Peterborough, Ottawa, or Toronto.

As the Communications Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the Communications team, responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating the production of promotional materials, contributing to the development of the company website, and interacting with various stakeholders to effectively deliver our company’s mission and message. They will work with the Communications Manager on a variety of Communication-related day-to-day activities and assist with various projects, as well as being the primary developer of social media content.

**Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following**:

- Maintain and update company website; create/update content, ensure design continuity, IT support and external web consultants/developers as required;
- Create and distribute company and community newsletter, develop content/images;
- Create and disseminate surveys to various stakeholders;
- Ensure digital marketing content is consistent with company brand and image;
- Create, monitor, and engage on OAHS’ social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn;
- Aid in the development of internal and external Communication plans and materials;
- Assist in media (and possibly in-person) events;
- Assist in the organization and planning of Full Circle Staff meetings and coordinate in-person gatherings; and
- Aid in the formulation of appropriate materials such as news releases, articles, editorials, publications including Annual Report, and other written communications.
- College Diploma or University Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related discipline or applicable industry experience.
- Knowledge of Wordpress or other website hosting platforms
- Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written) along with an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of and an appreciation for Indigenous culture and a values system that believes in holistic wellness and in assisting people to become and stay safely housed.
- Experience in social media strategy and communications work.
- Experience in graphic design is an asset.
- Ability to handle concerns with tact and professionalism.
- Enjoys collaborative and independent work.
- A self-starter who seeks out and acts on opportunities.
- Ability to multi-task to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Flexible to work varying hours and attend out-of-city or in-town events.

Pay: $45,400.00-$53,360.00 per year
