**Job description**

We have an opening for a Credit/Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Barrie Team. This position is responsible for running credit reports, opening and closing accounts, working with customers to resolve issues, making collection calls, issuing demand letters, and working with the credit team on all customer priorities.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Following up on outstanding balances, short payments, and overpayments
- Handling internal & external requests relating to customer accounts, PAP and billing processes, and processing account changes
- Opening and closing accounts and performing account reconciliations
- Producing weekly aging reports, analysing and payment trends, and following up as necessary
- Processing credit reports and supporting the credit team to determine credit limits/terms
- Reviewing and releasing customer orders
- Supporting marketing initiatives including new product/service launches

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Post secondary degree/diploma in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Residential sales experience considered an asset
- Minimum 1-3 years credit or collections experience
- This is a 100% in office role at our Barrie head office location

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
