Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The **Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School** on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are currently recruiting for the position of **Supervisor**beginning as early as February 10, 2025. This position requires 40 hours per week at 8 hours per day onsite Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is $32.81 per hour ($30.10 base rate plus $2.71 Wage Enhancement). Wage Enhancement is a government funded supplement and only available when being offered by the government. This posting is for an already existing position.

**General Skills**:
**Requirements**:

- Registered with the College of ECE
- Thorough knowledge of the CCEYA
- Knowledge of HDLH
- Strong family/client service skills
- Budgeting and financial skills
- At least 2 years hands on experience with children
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get a note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
- WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates
- Strong leadership skills
- must be approved by the Ministry of Education for the position (Director Approval)
- Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
- Adequate energy level and ability to meet the physical demands of the job which can include frequent lifting of 20 pounds or more, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching etc.

Considered an Asset:

- Prior experience in a Supervisor or Designate role
- Experience with children with special needs
